Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Sales (SVP Sales) to lead certain branches of our sales team and drive revenue growth. The SVP Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team, including other leaders.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives, revenue targets and exceed quota.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to drive performance and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and other cross-functional teams to drive integrated sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Establish and monitor sales metrics and KPIs to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in sales and business development.
  • Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the sales organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior sales management position, including managing multiple teams.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of sales processes, customer dynamics, and market trends.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to drive change and lead cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. The pay range at the time of posting in the specified locations is $200,000 - $250,000 /year. Pay ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience.
